Finally, I passed SCJP1.4................... with 96%.
Java exp : 3yrs, Time spent : 3 months,part-time.
I may be lucky, I found most of the questions were easy.
1. Read Bruce Eckel's 1.4 book.
(a wish come true after a long long time )
2. Read Barry Boone's 1.2 book. (I had bought this 2 yrs ago and it was
rusting in my shelf )
3. Borrowed Kathy & Bates book from my friend, read a few chapters, went thru all the sample questions and the mock exam.
4. Dan Chisholms tests - Great, averaged 65-80% in the tests but I thoroughly enjoyed the tests. The tests were awsome and introduced me to the unknown parts of the java world, which I thought never existed. Java is supposed to be very easy language, isn't it?
5. Took Whizlabs mock tests - good, gave me some good confidence.
Thanks to Dan Chisholm, Marcus green, Kathy & Bates and whizlabs. These people made me pass with flying colors.....
Cheers,
Vish
