Passed SCJP 1.4 today with 90%

Just got back from the test center. The exam was not hard, although because of my own tendency I got super-nervous at the first couple of questions. But after finishing about 5 questions, my dead brain came back to life and all the following questions became quite clear.
I started the exam preparation on 9/20. The following are the materials I used:
- "Thinking in Java" (skimmed to refresh memory)
- Bert Bates & Kathy Sierra, Sun Certified Programmer & Developer (primary study guide)
- Marcus Greens mock exams (all 4 of them)
- Dan Chisholms mock exams (8 of them)
- Bill's Practice exam
Just a couple of thoughts here:
- Dan's exams are way too difficult comparing to the actual ones. I consistently scored around 66% throughout my prepration. (It's really frustrating as if all the time and study had gone in vain). But I agree they are a great learning tool.
- Marcus Green's are good, especially the new 1.4 version. I scored around 80%.
- I scored 75% for Bill's exam applet.
- I also have tons of old 1.2 practice and dumps. I tried some but felt they were kind of on the easy side, so I didn't spend too much time on them. But looking back, the level of difficulty is actually quite close to the real one.
- Because of my scores in MG, Dan and Bill, I was really shooting for 70% pass when I drove to the test center. But it turned out to be much higher.
Well, hope this will be of some help to future SCJPers.
