Well, I finally got around to doing it today and passed with 83%, which, going by the majority of results posted here, seems a bit feeble. Anyway, it's done, so now I can move onto SCJD & do something interesting instead of simulating the compiler! Yes, I was getting irritated by all the questions with a "doesn't compile" option, so you have to inspect every line of code to check if they sneaked something in to catch you off guard! To prepare I used java intermittently over the past 3 years at work, and a few days swotting with the excellent Mughal book and as many exam simulators as I could find. Thank you very much to the people who give the time and effort to putting these things together. Personally I'd rather be outside on my bikes or snowboard or down the pub, but I guess I'm just selfish. Anyway, congrats to everybody else who passed today, commiserations and keep at it to those who didn't and good luck to those about to take the exam
