to author two of the best books I came across,
one for
SCJP certification and the other 'Head First
Java'. Keeping the interest alive continously, with
lucid explanations, I found both the books excellent,
for a subject, the learning of which was a paradigm shift,
for a seasoned COBOL programmer.
In threads, where max. questions were there, I got 87%
only with the help of the above books.
I am thankful to JavaRanch .The nourishing discussions
which helped me to reinforce my knowledge always
compelled me to come to this great forum again and again.
A great language, great authors and a superb forum.
I enjoy every moment of it .
