Hello,
Have you ever faced this problem ? SCBCD has many drag and drop type questions. Some questions has pictures. I was expecting to score at least 85 - 90%. One of the questions had a picture and it disabled the mouse. I could use the key board, but it was very inconvenient. I couldn't open the questions that had "TASK" (drag and drop type). I couldn't attend about 15 questions. Finally I passed with a 70% score. But I am not very happy because it is not fair.
If you live in California, don't ever take a test in "Los Gatos" city. Thats where I had this problem.

Hi Suds!
Wow - congratulations for passing under such harsh circumstances!
You might want to write to Evelyn Cartagena at Sun. Her email is [email protected]. Explain to her what happened to you. Please be nice to Evelyn, she doesn't work for Prometric, however she can apply pressure to them so that they will fix their software and hardware problems. All the feedback Evelyn gets helps her to apply pressure to Prometric.
In any event, congratulations!

Hi Suds,
It's so unfair ! Your 70% score worths 90% anyway. Congratulations !
I wonder if you couldn't get a free voucher to pass it again. After all, you paid without getting the service you reasonably could expect, and maybe your "official" score is important to you ! Now if it happened to me, I am not sure I'd be *willing* to attend it twice.
Best regards,
Phil.

Hello,
Thank you for your comments. Just wanted to thank to Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates for such a wonderful book. This book explains the core concepts of EJBs in such a way that even a lay man can understand it. I have been architecting EJB applications since last 5 years, but I found so many new things from this book ("HEAD FIRST EJB"). This book is easy to read, understand and remember.
I am a professional trainer and I am going to use this book as reference in my training matarial.
I think the "score" doesn't matter for these sun certification. But I would have been much happier if I got more than 90%. But based on the time contraints I have and the time I spent to prepare for this exam (4 days), I think this score is ok. But I will write to sun about this.

Hey Suds,
I think that you should persue this matter with Sun and Prometric. You should not allow them to get away with such sloppy customer service. At a minimum, they should allow you to retake the exam without any additional fee.
Regards.
Bharat
