Hi all
Today I passed the SCJP 1.4 with 98% (1 incorrectly answer).
I have prepared for the exam in the last two months, mainly by reading the Sun Certified Programmer & Developer for Java 2 STUDY GUIDE by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates.
This is the BEST book for this exam. During the reading I made flash cards as the authors suggest and that worked well for me. I took the Master Exam (included on the books CD) and Marcus Green's 1.4 mock exam several times just before the real exam.
So if you are preparing for the 1.4 exam read this book, it�s good.

congratulations on your achievement.Can u give me some tips since i may take this exam with in a short time.I need to know whether we need to go through the methods of collections classes.plz advise...

Does the real questons tougher than marcus green's

Hi dhana
I did not get any questions involving methods of the collection classes.
I recommend that you learn the basic methods, then you�re prepared if you get any.
As I mentioned before the flash card thing is a good and easy way to repeat your readings.
Simply use index cards with a question on the front and the answer on the back. I made about 300 cards.
