I got 62/70.. not too bad.. but drag & drop question took my high score..
First drag & drop didn't work at first time. I mean when you drop something in white space it was not getting updated. I lost sometime in that thinking it is bug. After working on second drag & drop (which worked after many trials) went back to first one which worked after many drag & drop trial.
One thing I observed when you drop the answer in white space make sure you see White Square instead of arrow. It's hard to explain in words.
Because of that I lost time & all drag & drop questions where on EJB-QL. In the end EJB-QL show 40%.. I hate it like anything after having good SQL knowledge but stupid software...
I think SUN should use INESystems hand sign drag & drop method. INESystem has good user interface.
I was new to EJB but had Java related certification SCJP & SCWCD. My preparation for SCBCD was mainly from Head First EJB. (Thanks to Kathy & Bert for wonderful book)
1. Head First EJB - 4 times reading (not needed.. 3 times okay)
2. http://www.valoxo.ch/jr/cheatsheets.html - exam cheat sheets are good. (Excellent DD sheet a must read)
3. NO EJB spec reading at all. (Just referred page or two)
4. INESystem exams (I had free copy - Thanks) good user interface & good mock exam questions. Only done three exam & pass all of them with 70%.
5. Clear HFB mock exam with 70%.
6. You should not pay attention to above trial exam score. If you feel confident & read HFB three times you are bound to pass with good score.
7. Mastering EJB book for reference but not much.

Bottom line read HFB book & attend this forum should get you SCBCD.
Good luck to all. Hope this helps

Thank you ALL.
Jayantilal,
INESystem gave away free trail when they introduce SCBCD exam software. I am not sure they still give free copy. You can try at [email protected].
HFB mean Head First EJB book by Kathy.
Hope this help.

Hello Nehul Nalekar,
Many congratulations on passing the exam. I'm glad you found our SCBCD exam simulator useful.
Jayantilal Gosar: The original promotion ended a few weeks ago but at the moment we are selling the SCBCD exam simulator at half price, only $14.99.
Regards
Ian Anderson

Hi Prasad,
Total EJB-QL questions were 5 (might be 6) & drag - drop were 2 from EJB-QL and 2 more from other topic. Security questions might be from 2-4. But you have to read security question won't be straight forward. I mean read what bean provider can do about security, application assembler can do about it & last deployer. Also read deployment descriptor tag about security.
You will find Head First EJB with most of the answer.
Hope this help.
