Hi all,
First of all a big "hello" to you all -- this the first time I have used this site.
I intend on taking this exam sometime in the next few months. For now, I am unsure which book to use. So far I have come across two very good books:
Sun Certified Programmer & Developer for Java 2 Study Guide (Exam 310-035 & 310-027)
Kathy Sierra (Editor), Bert Bates (Editor)
A Programmer's Guide to Java Certification: A Comprehensive Primer
Khalid Mughal, Rolf Rasmussen
A friend of mine is going to lend me the study guide: Complete Java 2 Certification Simon Roberts, Phillip Heller (Editor
I have read all the reviews on amazon etc -- though I cannot decide between them. Any advice for which one I should buy? I have some experience of using Java from 1st and 2nd year university studies. Though I am not a really experienced and ultra confident java programmer (one of the reasons I am going to do this exam). BTW, I should say my main intention is not only to pass the exam but make me a much more able java coder for my final year project etc.
Is possible to get away with buying one book?
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.
Ciao,
Vipul
