Passed yesterday with 77%.12 questions are from threads only Thanks ............. n times to Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates for such a good book. Thanks also to Marcus Green,Dan,JDiscuss team and all rancher's for their contibution.

I would like to say something on exam question patterns i have faced in exam.

1.Thread questions have become tougher, also they have tested knowledge on mixing of daemon & nondaemon threads, synchronization.
2. No questions on common topics such as strings primitive casting, shift operator etc.
3.Garbage Collection have become tougher with critical problems on Island of Isolation.
4. Stress given on new topics such as wrapper objects and their manipulation.
5.Many questions on passing odd command line arguments to main() method.
6.Tougher programs from Inner classes.
7.OO concept of encapsulation

I have some suggestion regarding Sierra / Bates book to make it better than best.

1.More threads concepts with examples
2.More operations/example of wrapper objects.
3.Some more topics of encapsulation
4.Exception handling in constructors

preparing for the next: scwcd & scbcd.C

Can anyone suggest me where to get best study notes and books on new 310-081 & 310-090.

Gravity is a harsh mistress. But this tiny ad is pretty easy to deal with:
the new thread boost feature: great for the advertiser and smooth for the coderanch user
