Hello All,
I have just joined and this is my first post.
I could have done better with more time for preparation, but I need to show it on my rsum as soon as possible ...

I used the Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates book. I did not have the time to do a full mock exam (did 20 questions from the CD on the day of the test).

I am trying to figure out which one should I go for next ... any suggestions ?

I have noticed that not many among you have done the SCJD. Could some of you please proffer possible reasons for this phenomenon ?

Thanks,
Jay

A pass is a pass!

It depends on what you needed. If you need the knowledge for J2EE, you may consider SCWCD, SCBCD and SCDJWS.

If you wanna J2ME, you will then need SCMAD.

If you have enough design experiences, you may also consider SCJD or even SCEA.

It is mainly becos SCJD and SCEA contain programming/design assignment. An assignment may take a long time to complete, some people even mentioned that they use a year to complete SCJD assignment. Thus, while comparing them to those exams without assignments, SCJD and SCEA maybe a bit time consuming.

Thanks Nick.
Seeing the long and impressive list of your certs I can't help requesting you to offer some tips on time management for those of us who have just awakened to the fact that certification is the way to go.
Sincerely,
Jay
