The other day i passed SCWCD 1.4 with 76% .
I tragically failed on Standard Actions ' Section (too much javabeans code to read, my mind turned off)
No prior exeperience in Jsp/Servlet programming.
I've studied for 5 weeks ( about 4-5 hours a day, including weekends).
My prep was:
- As reference guide I've used SCWCD Kit 1.3 ( the majoritiy of concepts are still valid )
- Read Core Servlets and Jsp by Marty Hall (at the start) to take familiarity with Servlets/Jsp
- Read Specs and Docs
- Read Mikalai notes
- I learnt about Patterns in Java BluePrints
- I learnt about EL, core JSTL in java Tutorial 1.4
- I heavily used JWebPlus 1.4 (my first scores were: 85 76 76 71 85 85 78 )

Some tips:
I found a question on the correct syntax of <ejb-local-ref>
More questions than expected on EL, core JSTL ( correct syntax)
An hard question about HttpSession in a distibuted environment
