Hi,

Yesterday i took the exam and got 97%. I have missed one question from EJB Overview and another one from Exceptions. Here is my preparation experience,

1. HFEJB -- No more words to sat about the book. It is simply superb. Before the exam, i have gone through other books, but nothing was interesting. After the exam preparation, i thought 'How to remember all this'. Now i am confident with most of the concepts that are discussed on the book.
But but, some of the topics need to be elaborated, such as EJB-QL..
Small requests,
a. In the Appendix can we have consolidate list of all the life cycle methods and in each method what are the methods from the context can be called. ( EJB Specs mentioned clearly)
b. Deployment Descriptor -- Full DD with all the tags.
c. Handling the exceptions by the bean provider and contained for the different possible case ( Once EJB Specs mentioned clearly)
( I am not sure how far this feasible, upto Kathy )

2. EJB Specs -- As some one in other posted mentioned it is Bible. It can be used as reference. But we can get from EJB Specs only after finishing the HFEJB book. Because any chapter can refer any other chapter.

3. Study material - SCBCD Study Guide By Mikalai Zaikin --> It is also very Good..Will list all the important points to be required for the exam and all the key points. Once again this can be used once after finishing the HFEJB or it you know well EJB and wants to write the exam without buying the HFEJB.

4. Mock exams

a. I took all the mock exams from 'ejbCertficate.com' and got on an average 78%. Once after taking the exam gone through the explanation for all the questions (whether i have answered correctly or not) of all the exams and noted down the points wherever i got some small doubt.
b. Took the mock exam from HFEJB and got around 85%
c. One of my friend(Lot of credit for my success goes to him) has gifted SoftSCBCD -- It is very Good. Once again it covered all the import and key points more than once in different perspective. Once after taking the exam gone through the explanation for all the questions (whether i have answered correctly or not) of all the exams and noted down the points wherever i got some small doubt. Becarefull at one or two places small errors are present ( I couldn't remember the questions numbers ). If you come across, please let authors know the wrong explanations so they could correct.

5. Last but not least, This site is very very useful and whenever i saw the results forum, gives lot inspiration.

Planning to take the SCWCD exams and wating for HF book. May get with in 2 or 3 days.

Thanks,
