Did it yesterday afternoon in sunny San Diego, CA.
Resources used: (Thanks to all of them)
Introduced myself to Java with Deitel's book. (I had no previous experience with Java and I don't use it at work. Started mid-June).
Javaranch game.... consistently scoring 90-100%
Javaranch SCJP forum: great to dissipate many doubts. I never posted a questions but just reading throught it is enlightening.
Javaranch FAQ: pointed me to other resources like Dan's tests.
K&B Book. Read it two times missed only 1-2 practice questions in each chapter the second time around.
Dan Chisholm's online and printable tests. I did 4 of them. Consistently Scoring 80-90%.

Something curious... one of the snippets in the test had "System" misspelled as "Sytstem" and "Compilation fails" was not one of the options in this one. The question was a very short snippet (4-5 lines) testing the output of a static function..... so.... the test has code they haven't tested!!

I wish all candidates success. Not sure what's next, probably SCJD.
