I passed yesterday after studying from Kathy Sierra's and Bert Bates' book, Java 2 SCJP Study Guide. Not the score I would have liked, but I didn't have a lot of study time. Spent a week during the summer studying and the last two week-ends. I actually found the book to be entertaining! Does that make me a TOTAL geek? I have about a year of solid experience with Java plus past experience in VB & PHP.

Next, I am going to get started on some CIW certifications (job requirement) in December and PHP next summer.

Thanks, Kathy and Bert, for a GREAT book!!
