Hi Everybody,

Cleared SCBCD with 95%, missed out i feel on some really simple things .. Maybe i was in too much of a hurry to complete the exam..

Used --

>>Mastering EJB II by Ed Roman, Good book to get you started on EJB..

>>HFE - (Really good book Kathy and Bert.. I like the way the info is presented... Would suggest starters of this book to download the errata first.. Also really work on the "Brain power" and "there are no dumb questions" sections.. they are really informative and nicely thought of..

>>Enterprise JavaBeans - Richard Monson Haefel - (This book covers all topics in very good detail, I feel especially topics on CMP, CMR, EJBQL are covered in better detail in this book)

>>The EJB 2.0 Spec - Always consulted this one in case i was in any doubt on a topic..

Scored 85% in the HFE coffee cram exam, the real exam i felt was a lil easier but the tone/level of questions are similar i felt..

Thx for ppl who have helped me in my exam by clearing my doubts..

cheerz

Hi all,

Thx for your wishes.. was not able to reply to the posts for some time now due to project pressure..

Sudarshan, i prepared for about 1.5 ~ 2 months, i have been working on EJB for some time now, but had not touched upon some of the finer details of the spec.. the exam helped me prepare on those.. i essentially worked out on all the things that i was not familiar with and that added up to the preparation time.. In the end, the effort was more than worth it i feel..
