Hello everyone,
today I scored 91% (91.8% w/o the decimal portion?!) on the SCJP2. In my case, I had the luxury of devoting several weeks full-time to it.

I've been programming in Java since and reading Java since the beginning of 2000. The one book I used was the Mughal/Rasmussen book (second edition, of course). I'd like to thank everyone involved in particular for two things:

- the listing of mock exams (http://www.javaranch.com/mock.jsp)
- The roundup

I read the book, spent time on many mock exams (some more then once, when appropriate), devoted time to actually playing with code and trying different things. I also kept close tabs on my progress, on what needed to be improved and so forth. I also used a couple of excellent study guides.
Last, but not least, about two weeks before taking the exam, I read the JLS (Java Language Specification), second edition, quite diligently, in my opinion.
