can u people tell me what do u mean by specification.....
all people write "specs" or "specification"... ?

then what does it really mean ??

A specification is a list of requirements.

In terms of the Sun Certified Java Developer exam, the specifications are the requirements for your project.

If this doesn't answer your question, perhaps you could be a little more specific?

Specification = An exact written description of an invention by an applicant for a patent.

I think we can regards 'specifications' as 'requirements' or 'expectations' from the publisher.
