Hi All,

I passed SCJP1.4 with 90% today and wish to thank everyone in this group who helped me in clearing mu doubts. Without this group and Kathy sierra's Book this would not been possible even though i had been working on with java since i was in college.

I have around 1 year programming background in java and done all my projects in Java but preparing for SCJP1.4 reinforced my concepts and made me gud java programmer

I am working as software engr in a different project where we don't java as such but use java syntax for coding Test cases.During preparation, the main problem was that i could not install jdk in my office PC as this was not used in our project .Only this group ,books where my guide to me(added to my past java experience helped me).

The Real exam was easier than the dan mock exams ( i used to get 70-75% in these exams) , I got around 83% in green . I believe that folllowing sierra and bert book as a bible will get you through with gud score.I know that I will get 5 questions which were doubtful to me in exam ( I was tempted to choose the next best answer, but refrained doing so).The time was more than sufficient ,had i worked more using java while preparing i would have got a still better score..

Once again , Thank You all (Especially kathy, bates, green, dan chisolm, all bartenders (grisham, barry )....I think i also caught up with this style of writing in paranthesis after following kathy's book , I know this mail will be moved barry)

Will start SCWCD soon..

Just a comment , If you knew that your post will be moved to this forum then why you didn't post in this forum itself . If you want to all SCJP aspirats to read your post then it is not a bad place . In fact if any body need guidence or suggestion then he will come to this forum only because this is result forum & people post their experience ...
... So Enjoy Buddy ...
