I actually passed the SCJP on Sept 4th last year.

I can recommend the Whizlabs Product which contains numerous mock exams. I actually found these exams to be set at a higher level than the actual Sun Exam, but this just meant I was better prepared. Although I did have a few issues with installation of the product.

I'm now studying for the SCJD exam and I'm about 50% of the way through, with a good chunk of the coding completed. If anyone would like to chat about anything regarding both exams then feel free to contact me.

Hi Paul,

I am about to take SCJP-1.4 within 2 weeks from now...I started doing whizlabs tests and in the practice test which contains 33 questions,i got only 20 correct. Are the whizlabs standards higher than the actual exam??I scored above 70 in all other mock exams.Suggest me some tips and any other info required.I also have a doubt in SCJP:

Will a collection contain all the methods defined in a set or the other way round??

thanks in advance.

Hi... to put your mind at rest, the Whizlabs exams are (in my opinion) set at a higher level than the actual exam. At first at felt a little disappointed by using their simulator, but don't allow yourself to be, just continue on until U take the exam...it's not as difficult.... I didn't think so. I devoted 15 days in total, that's solid days though. As if that's not enough torture I've gone on to do SCJD.
