Hello Sancho George

I recently passed SCWCD 1.4 with 86 %

I want more information regarding SCBCD ..

Can you please share your valuable information regarding books, links u refered, mock exams and total duration that is required for preparation ?

Also I dont have any knowledge of EJB's and all...

So is it ok to go for SCBCD or should I have to make my hands dirty in EJB and then think for certification

Whats your opinion ?

Please kindly reply

Thanks and Regards
Rohit

hi rohit,

Congrats for scoring well in SCWCD...

If you really want to score well I recommend you to read Mastering EJB by Ed Roman, then try out some samples in weblogic, then use HeadFirst EJB to prepare for SCBCD.Always keep the spec for reference. It has got lots of tables which would be helpful while preparing.I took only the jdiscuss mock exams.I have revised and revisited every question in HF-EJB.At last I took the HF-EJB mock test. The mistakes I have done in this mock really helped me to avoid careless /simple mistakes that could have happen during the real exam.Time? Its all depends upon how fast you can grasp all the realted technologies. If you can fully dedicate around 2-3 months at a strech it would be enough.

Most of the web resource links are maintained by javaranch @ http://www.valoxo.ch/jr/SCBCD_Links.html

All the Best Rohit!!!
