Hello Ranchers, Glad to share with you that I passed SCBCD today with 98%. This forum is truely a great place to share knowledge. Thanks for all your help.
Special thanks to Mikalai Zaikin for his efforts in consolidating the topics on the exam from the EJB spec (saved me a lot of time mapping the exam objective to the spec!). And yes, thanks to KB for their book HF SCBCD. I hope the next edition has fewer errata. [ March 12, 2005: Message edited by: Keerthi P ]
COngrats Keerthi! that was a wonderful score. Did u have any experience in this field before??i cleared my scwcd, I am planning to write scbcd but i don't have much experience on ejb's. could u pls reply...
Yes. I've been developing EJBs from the days of EJB1.x (I can still recollect the hard times I had with weblogic 4.x/5.x and iPlanet App servers ) and this is one of the reasons why I wanted to take SCBCD so that it can help me code better EJBs. Whether or not you have prior experience in EJBs shouldn't matter as far this certification is concerned. I have seen people scoring 90% or above with absolute no prior hands-on experience. Buy Head First SCBCD and make use of Mikalai Zaikin's spec extracts. You should be OK. All the best.
