I had had no experience with EJB, but I passed SCBCD with 97%, which is much higher than I expected!

I'm very grateful to Head First EJB and EJB+, which accompanied my for the last few days.

BTW, the scores I got with EJB+ were around 80%~90% only.

Congrats scott...

I have cleared scwcd recently and planning for scbcd...
i know the book we need to follow is the head first series...
but, i am not sure whether any app server is there which is available for free, so that we can have some hands on experience in EJB... Please suggest some app server that we can download and start working from the home...

Hi there,

It took me 3 months to hit the HF EJB book, during which I also tried some application servers including "Sun's Application Server" and "JBoss."
I read the book 4 times with the EJB spec only for reference.
I think the book, together with EJB Plus simulator, is enough for the exam.
The IDE I used to test the application servers was JBuilder 2005.

Best Regards,
