Not great, but actually better than I thought. Started studying a couple months or so ago, but then had to leave it for almost a month until a couple days ago. Tried to "re-cram" what I had and hadn't learnt earlier. My suggestion: study steadily and make sure you don't rush into the exam (I had to, though). I read Khalid's book, did the mock questions at the end of each chapter and the mock exam at the end of the book. Also tried JavaRanch Roundup and one test from the JQPlus trial version. (Did all of these tests once, and scored around 80%, so not as good as in the real thing.) What I did besides the book (and some questions in this forum, of course), though, was to code when I wanted to verify some gray areas. I just wrote a different possible pieces of code to see what the result was.
