Hi.
I took SCJP cert at 15 July at 2003 (which means it is expires after 2 years).
As you know, the new policy said that all certs after 1 August / 2003 will never expire.
Well, Can I take SCDJWS or SCJD using my SCJP 1.4 or I have to update it in order to take these exams ?
thanks.

There is a FAQ on Sun's site that has an explanation of what to do to get updated proof of SCJP certification - that is, without an expiry date.

You can go ahead and take any other certification with your existing proof of certification. There is no checking whether it is "expired" or SCJP 1.2, 1.4, or 1.5.

Please check this (from Sun's FAQ page):

What is Sun's new Certification Policy?
Beginning with all Sun certification exams taken on or after August 1, 2003 , certification offerings from Sun no longer have an expiration date. Rather, certification offerings are based on a version of technology.
The certification date and exam version will appear on both a certificate and an identification card with the applicable certification title.

Well, I'm confused
