Hi Manju. before my advise or comments i would like to know the exact status about your idea about exam.

This are the steps i follow. and recommend
1. Get familier with the Exam :
a. How to take a exam voucher and register for a testing center
b. Exam pattern. For this carefuly read the topics and objectives on the sun site or FAQ on this site they have lots and lots of information.
2. Clear all your java concepts and write few codes and get familiar.
3. Read one guide atleast or a book which will lead you focus only on exam topics and objectives
4. Solve as many questions as you can from the books and other sources topic wise first.
5. When you are confident about the concepts start mocks and give as many mocks you can.
and remember always go back to the concept if you r stuck in any questions

and always read the sun technical documentation ... For links i will club together and mail to you.

best of luck and do share your strategy and exam date
