Hi all,

I just returned from the test center having scored 93% ( 57/61 ). Like John said in another thread, I expected it to be a little more challenging. The questions from Collections were the simplest. There were no twisted questions or tricky ones.

Anyways I cannot be complaining as I am about to get back to work after a complete break of 3 years. ( Needed this cert. as a morale booster than anything else! )

All I can say to the aspirants is that we should try to understand the concept and try out as much code as possible. Don't just study for the sake of scoring in the test, have a broader goal of knowing what you do. Mock exams help a lot ( I did Dan's tests a lot, 3 of Marcus Green, Javacertificate, Whizlabs free test and not to forget the Javaranch Rules Roundup, what fun!). Having core Java experience helped me a lot as I couldn't put in any serious effort in continuous studying.

I made do with my ancient edition of Mughal & Rasmussen and 3rd edition of Roberts & Heller. Though I have no K&B reference material, this gave a kick start.

Thank you all,
Soumya.
