Hi,
I took SCWCD test today and got 89%....
There were lots of error in the exam...

(Trashed real exam information)

there were 3-4 more blunders on the question paper, which really made me angry... We pay $150 to take this exam, so we can atleast expect to get an error free question paper....

can we do something to make it sure that atleast others don't get question papers full of such errors???

Regards,

First CONGRATULATIONS Sushma on your success with such a good score!

YES, you are correct, quite a few questions were reall confusing and may be buggy too.. Though it's not good to mention here actual exam questions.. but wrong questions MUST be mentioned to make people aware.. here is one questiton which I can recall that sounds me confusing.. this was my First question in the exam!

(Trashed more real examination information)
!!! ???
Well, I chose (3), still I am not sure I attempted correct or not. Anyway, my final total score was 92% and I found I did 1 question wrong in Web App Structure & Deployment (out of 6), may be this was the one.

Anyway, ALL THE BEST to everyone,

And Sushma.. first celebrate your success for couple days then get back to work

DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY QUESTIONS. (WHATEVER IS THE CASE)

I AM SURE YOU WILL BE KICKED OUT OF THIS SITE IF YOU DO SO.

Everyone, understands your problems. We may not be able to score a 100%, but that is not a reason to fall back on blaming the questions or even worse DISCLOSING them.

Why are you so sure that anyone would believe, you got the questions that you mentioned with the choices you mentioned?

Could it be, that it was just an Illusion.

May be you read the question or the answers wrong.

BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME AND STOP WHINING.

(PS: My anger is directed towards your disclosure of the questions which you PROMISED you would not engage in at the start of the exam.)

(PS2: If you can't remember what you promised not to DO at the start of the exam, how can you be sure that you remember the Questions along with the choice provided?)

(PS3: If you find a question wrong & BUGGY, contact SUN and not your ADMIRERS & SYMAPATHIZERS)

Hi ,

Sushma first of all congrats on a great score
89% is a really great score . Keep it up

Yes , i can understand your frustration. From Sun ,
you can expect a bit of quality

Hey Anand ,

I think the answer to your qs was 2 since web.xml is mandatory in a war
file the rest are not.

Hey Choudhary ,

I think you are being way too harsh .
Give us a break
I perfectly understand the need for not disclosing the qs
but if everybody kept quiet nothing would happen
And about contacting Sun , you know how tedious that can get

So what would happen if everyone disclosing the questions?

Telling people what the real questions do not really help others, it is just an act of cheating! Does it meanful that your professor give you the exam questions before the exam, so that everyone get an A+?

Helping people have several ways, like discussing doubts & mock questions, give tips on what to be aware, etc.

Hi Nicholas

I meant more like that we would atleast be mentally
prepared for questions like this

Yeah , possibly we shouldnt disclose the exact questions possibly
just the candidates could give a warning to others so that
we have a better chance of handling such questions
and select the answer which is almost correct (Thought i am not sure if
that is possible ) . PLease understand that I thoroughly understand
the need and importance of not dislosing exam questions
As it is , the exam is difficult . With questions like this
you can be mentally disturbed and if you lose your cool then you
might in fact start doing badly on the other questions as well
After paying $150 , atleast this minimum requirement should be present

What so you say ? Request you handle this as just a fiendly debate
and not blow your top off by putting icons like this mad:

After paying $150, you should at least learn the topics, understand the contents, practicing with mock exams, and finally pass the exam.

If you only get a pass without obtaining the knowledge, I would say this is NOT a minimum requirement, as it can be achieved without problems by using dumps.

obviously you need to prepare hard
but after preparing hard if you find wrong questions whats the point
Obviously , it will be frustrating to find wrong questions
after preparing so hard and then losing marks due to no fault of yours

If the questions are wrong, even you know the questions before hand, you will NOT answer it correctly except by luck as you don't know which answer SUN is expecting.

If the questions are correct, you could get the correct answers without knowing the questions before the test.

One more case I can think of is, the question and answers themselves are correct and consistent, however, the "model answer" from SUN is incorrect, and thus, even you gives the "correct answer" but you still lose marks (I tried this case in Oracle exams).

So, what is the meaning for getting the questions before hand? You cannot do anything with those questions in order to get the correct answers during the test. Hence, what you should do is to contact SUN, hoping that they will follow up the case, but not try to break the rules, and seeking excuses to declare your illegal act as a legal one with supporting reasons.

My sincere apologies for mentioning actual exam question; that actually just came out after reading Sushma's post.

I second suggestions given by Chowdary and Nicholas.

Discussing actual questions is not only illigal but unethical too.

Shiva,
The question asked for path, and not the file. By path, I considered this to be a directory path, and I mentioned this question to be confusing not buggy. Anyway, the point here is I should not have mentioned the question in first place!

WHY IS'NT THIS THREAD BEING DELETED?

Either the topic starters edit their posts and remove the questions that they disclosed or the moderators DELETE it.

Pleeeeease, Do not harm the RANCH or SUN.

Come on moderators, Do something about it. It's been two days since this thread started. Not an ordinary thread, mind you, a thread which discloses REAL exam questions.

JUST DO IT.

Hello Shiva

Even if it is tedious to contact SUN, that's way better than contacting the Ranch with real questions. JAVARANCH could be sued by SUN just like KAZAA is being sued by the music companies.

Contacting SUN is not tedious, But waiting for a reply can take a long time. Even then, that is not a reason to being STUPID.

You provide an UNFAIR advantage to those who visit the Ranch by disclosing BUGGY questions. That should not be the case.

Inform SUN about those same BUGGY questions and you would have helped everyone who was planning to take the exam.

Doesn't that sound more logical.

Hi,
I am sorry for disclosing the real questions, but I was so angry that I just forgot that I am not supposed to discuss exam questions here.
I tried "closing the topic" and "deleting the topic", but it wouldn't let me do so as only moderators or administrators can do so....
Anyways sorry once again and thanks for the wishes...
