Hi Pals,

Could anyone tell me if what we answer in the beginning of the test about our knowledge in the topics matter anything in the real exam?

i think it matters...

there is no logic of doing survey of such silly thing unless and until they are going to take something out of it..
i mean they must be doing something with the data for eg. "whats your profeciency in polymorphism"

think what they will get with our answer ? how they can use it ?
obviously not changing the java technology ?
may be to reflect it on toughness on exam...

cant say surely but still what is the logic of survey ?

I wondered too If I said 'expert' in all categories, would I have got the toughest of the questions ?!

The survey is used to perform statistical sampling.

If what you select will affect the toughness of the questions, then everyone will say he is beginner. Thus, the choices you made will be independent of what questions you got.

True, I assumed that way after I finished the survey.

I only hope the last survey would be taken a bit seriously, the questions about the test center.

I was asked to carry all I had in my bag into the test room ! I had to insist on leaving my notes at the reception.
In spite of reading someone's advice on this forum about carrying earplugs, I forgot to do the same and the first 30 minutes were bad - the friendly receptionist making conversations loudly with all and sundry Later, they just closed the door with me alone in the room. I found all these pretty unprofessional.
