is this the real cert for scjp?

i doubted about this cert...is it the real cert, or just a congratz cert? if it is real, then why there is no chop of SUN?

I don't understand what you think is missing. What is a "chop of SUN"?

Nicky, are you referring to the silver stamp on the earlier batch of Sun certificates? The current batch doesn't have the stamp on it. Anyway, having the stamp on a certificate doesn't make it any more real than the one without, IMO.

Well, if someone doubts the authenticity of the certificate, simply provide more evidence by showing him the following stuff:

1. Sun ID card
2. result slip
3. use the Publishing Certification feature in CertManager database.

Nicky,

I think Sun stopped putting the silver stamp on the certificates around 2 years ago. The new certificates are still real and valid though.
