Hi All
I took SCJP5.0 in India Yesterday and passed with 70%.
My advice is please study hard and all the topics in the syllabus. Questions are very difficult than 1.4 test.Also 175 minutes will be over by solving all the questions and no time to review.

* Drag and drop questions are real test to the knowledge
* Please concentrate on FILE IO APIs
* Please 100% familiar with the following tutorials -
* http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5/pdf/generics-tutorial.pdf
* http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/language/foreach.html
* http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/language/autoboxing.html
* http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/language/enums.html
* http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/language/varargs.html
* http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/language/static-import.html

Let me know if anyone needs any more information.

Thanks

Thank you very much for your advice.
What are books/materials/resources you used to preparation for SCJP 5.0, and how much time you spend for that?
Should I study books, mock exams for SCJP 1.4? It's help or not?

Congratulations. I'm not sure if it's legal to ask this but what the hey. What sort of task might you be asked to perform in a drag and drop question? And what exactly makes it so difficult (everyone says they are very difficult)? I'm obviously not asking for the exam questions but only looking to familiarize myself with the format. Maybe you could make up a sample question in your mind that you think would be similar to what might be asked. That would be greatly appreciated by myself and others who are looking to take the 5.0 exam. Congrats again, and thank you for sharing your experience.

Congrats !

Does the 5.0 exam tell you how many options to choose in multiple choice question?

Pls also share the format of drag-N-Drop question. It is not clear how these questions work.

Congrats!

For you drag and drop fans, look in the SCJP forum for a brand new thread with an example of a drag and drop question.
