Hallo to all,

i gave my assay exam on June, 10 for SCJD. I wrote an incident report on the certmanager and sent an email to sun four weeks ago. Still today the exam result is due. Has somebody experienced such problems and what can I do. The guys from sun dont react.

Thanks for help in advance.

Hi Ataul,

Did you e-mail to suncert@prometric.com? Usually they'd reply in about 2 business days. I tried reporting using the New Incident feature in the I7 database (aka certmanager) before, but no response. According to Sun Certification FAQ, the score will appear in the Assignment Watcher database in about 4 weeks.

Hi Lee,

i emailed three weeks ago to your mentioned email address. They realy replied within two business day and wanted to accelate the process of the assessment. But since then three weeks has gone. Now I am waiting about 8 weeks in total.

I like to escalte this issue to the next higher authority. Do you know who is the next higher authority and their contacts.

Thanks,

Ataul

My suggestion is to keep emailing them.

Believe me, I know your pain. I'm waiting still on my SCEA results - I took Part III on June 28th, and submitted my Part II the same morning - and it only got passed to the assessor on July 29th, after I badgered Shareon on Thomson Prometric for several days. (Literally, I was emailing every second day to insist that they do something, as they were giving me meaningless answers to my questions.) There was some kind of foul-up at the end of June with passing things along - heaven knows what's going on with them.

But, basically, keep the pressure on them to tell you what's going on, and it'll get pushed through the process.
