Hey Ranchers,

I do not post much in this forum, but just wanted to thank Kathy, Bert and Bryan for the absolutely phenomenal HFSJ book (my only reference) and for all the other study tips from the great people in this forum.

HFSJ and enthuware mocks will do it for you.

I tried to prepare in 3 weeks, but this was insuffienct time. After scoring a 50% on the coffee cram, I took another week to reread HFSJ once again and take a couple of Enthuware mocks (my average on these was 70%)

Good luck to everybody preparing for this exam

Thanks again!!

Jeanne

Hi Shanthi,

I did study alot - about 100 hours, including 10 hours for mocks.

Lay your strongest emphasis on Chapters 7 - 10, know your DD inside and out and know the APIs that are in the book, especially the overloaded methods.

If you study HFSJ carefully, you will score well, 95% of the exam questions are covered. I had 6 questions on design patterns, do the enthuware mock, there is another pattern covered (DataAccessObject). Also, at least review Bryan Bashams 9/13 tutorial on dynamic attibutes in SCWCD formum:

You will do great, the exam to me was very straightforward, I found the questions to be of average difficulty.

Good luck preparing for this exam. Hope this helps.

Jeanne

Congratulations

I don't get it. A whale wearing overalls? How does that even work? It's like a tiny ad wearing overalls.
