Rabi, jeff, Thejaswi and Valentin - Thanks so much for your wishes.
I used HFEJB for preparing for the exam. I also read "Mastering EJB" by Roman,Ed for an in-depth look at EJBs. I took about seven months to prepare (about 2-3 hrs each day) which included reading the spec, reading the books mentioned above, hands on working and utilizing the resources mentioned "SCBCD Links" section to the maximum possible extent.
The best thing about the mock exam in HFEJB (and some other mocks mentioned in SCBCD Links section) is that they do not give the number of correct choices. It is not only important to be able to select the right choices, but to also be able to reason out why you feel the other options are wrong!Preparing this way would help when you actually take up the real exam, cos you will have a better control over the questions as you are provided with the number of correct answers anyway.
I set a score of 80% or above on the HFEJB final mock exam for the real-exam-readiness. However you can decide on the number would be based on what your targets are.
Good luck to all who are preparing to take up SCBCD 1.3.
