hi, this is my first time posting here but i have been reading a lot lately in preparation for my exam.

just today i took the exam and passed! thanks to all who have posted and shared their experiences. plus the mock exams of dan chisholm and marcus green. i took them all! now i am thinking of creating my own and helping others as well. i'll post it here once i have set it up. have to compile all my notes and test codes.

anyway, i was not satisfied with the testing center where i took the exam. they were very unaccomodating. i don't want to discuss all that here (i'll email sun or prometric regarding that) except for the worst one. there was a problem printing my exam results and they said they have encountered that with other testers as well (wonder if they're fixing it). so i don't have a temporary copy of my results. luckily, i was able to glance at the results before that id*ot admin guy exited the exam and showed me the survey part. had i not viewed it, i wouldn't have an idea of my score. but the one i saw was just a summary of scores per category. i don't know my total percentage.

is that normal? how did you guys able to know your total percentage?

btw, i got 100% in all categories *yay* except language fundamental where i got 90%. probably, i had 1 or 2 mistakes. i already know 1 question where i failed. *sigh*

Hi Welcome to ranch !!
And Congrats for clearing SCJP.
Regarding the score your percentage should be displayed in the report itself.

Ps:-

Here in ranch we have a naming policy. Please have a look at it.

since in only one section you got 90% more chances that 1 qst is wrong
so you should get 98% (60/61),
if 2 were wrong than 96% (59/61).

but more likely you should get 98% (assuming that only one section you have 90% and rest all you got 100%).

congrats any ways!!!
bye.

yeah, most likely it's 1 or 2 mistakes. if i had only one mistake, i already knew what it was *sigh*. right after the test, i had a feeling which was it. when i came home, i verified and boom, the code would compile. haha.

btw, i read the naming policy when i registered and i don't think i am violating it.

i got my results from prometric. yes, my score was 98% indeed.
ugh! stupid mistake. i reviewed the question several times, i don't know what i was thinking that i chose it wouldn't compile. perhaps i was too cautious.

sorry, if im a bit upset. i know 98 is already too high. but you know, it would still nice get 100%. *wink*

so what now? probably, scjd.

thanks to all. really, especially free mock exam creators. time for me to pay forward.
