Hi , I passes SCJP 5.0 today with 75 %. I have been preparing for the exam for one month, otherwise I could score more. I really worked hard since I didnt have enough time and I am in process of job search. I am very happy that I passed. Here how I prepared.
.Complete java 2 certification by phill heller and simon Roberts. This book is not enough at all. But since K&B book is not out yet you dont have much of option.
.I also read K & B book at same time to clarify the idea related to scjp 1.4. Also here one sample part of chapters from their scjp 5.0 boo http://wickedlysmart.com/certpdfs/TigerSamples.html
.http://java.boot.by/scjp-tiger/
.For generics tutorial http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5/pdf/generics-tutorial.pdf
.Whizlabs 5.0 mock exams . There are six exams in this examulator. But these exams are extremely hard. I failed all of their exams but still got 75% in the real exam. It is really helpful for study. They are pricy but worth taking.
