First Of All Sorry Guys To Be Too Late But We Had A Lot Of
Work Pending Before
SCJP and We Were Postponing The Things
Due To This Exam,and as soon as we finished the exam we
were asked to complete those pending tasks,although the
pending tasks still remain i am still able to sneak into
ranch for some time,
First of All Let Me Tell You What We Mean "Its Me And My
Dear Friend Sandy",We Finally Passed SCJP 5.0 310-055,with
72% and 75% respectively,And We Rocked As We Said In The
Beginning,We Claim That We Are The First To Successfully
Complete 310-055 exam in Rajasthan,And We Are Sure That We
Are The First One To Pass 310-055 from Authorized
Prometric
Testing Center,NIIT,South Ex Part II,New Delhi.
Well Although We Were Preparing For it From a Long Time,We
took a lot of breaks,due to which we could not gather all
the things in our mind for the exam,which we had done in the tenure

a)Not Covering The Whole Syllabus
b)Some Topics Are Just Too Short.

b)Some Things In The Guide Are Not In The Course

a)The Best Of Them,Keep Them Handy,do revise them again
and again before giving the exam
4)JavaBeat Notes
a)Study Them First When You Start Preparing For The Exam,
Cover Basics
5)A Lot Of API
a)we tried to cramm the syntax and trying to understand
what each function did,but it was of no use,coz we were
not tested sytatically,
6)Course Topics From JLS
a)Although we tried to do the JLS ,its good for clearing
ur basics in deep,clears ur doubts completely,but you
should have time to read it ,from exam point of view its
not relevant.
7)Posted On Ranch
a)Became Our Favorite Pastime,Sometime Asked Questions And
also gave the awnsers of them after the awnsers clicked to
us,Barry,MZ,Bert helped us a lot on those thanks to all of
them,

8)A Lot,A Lot,A Lot Of Mock Exams(includes JQplus for 1.4
averaging 67%,JQPlus Good For Brushing Concepts which are
same in 1.4 and 1.5),Probably 75% Mock Exams Given On
JavaRanch Mock Exam PAge,
9)Finally WHIZLABS
The PRoduct is not at all satisfying according to
designing of GUI,it has a lot of bugs,The Company Has
Concentrated On The Security due to Piracy of the
product,as a lot of crack and keygens were made for its
previous simulators,but due to this the GUI was having too
many bugs,even the question and awnsers were too
ambiguous,some questions were wrong,E.g. you tick the
right awnser.and when you find the result and then when
you check the result you find that the options are
changed.Otherwise The Questions Standard was Same As The Exam.
Some Tips For Exams
1)Exam Is Easy For Those Who Have Done Java a
Lot,otherwise its normal AND TRICKY,as it Goes For
Basic Concepts but in a tricky manner
2)DnD Takes Time,So After Doing Them Do Write Them On The
Erasable Notepads Provided By Prometric Center
3)There are 73 questions in exam and not 72,i wonder why
someone has not mentioned that,Are They Really Giving
Exams Or Just Posting??LOL
4)If U Revise DnD ,The DnD will Be Reset So Think 2 times
before reviewing DnD because then you have to reattempt
it,Although It Will Give Prompt,But Still Do Remember
5)If U Do The Paper Normally U Will Be Able To Spare 30
Mins for Revision easily,but for that you have to try to
Spare 1 hour When Doing Mock Exam at Home
6)Language is a Problem ,so do concentrate on your english
and improve it if you have the scope
7)And Most Of All Drink A Lot Of
Water Before Sitting In
The Exam,This Reduces Nervousness for the exam.
Now What Else You Can Do
1)3 Books For Java 5.0 are Out(NOT EXAM ORIENTED),Dont
Remember The Name ,But Will Post If you require,do Mention
your requirement by Replying to the post.
2)Dont Know Whether K&B is out yet or not,if it is do read
it ,the book for 1.4 was too good from which we prepared
same topics which are in 1.5
3)Do As Many Mock As You Can!!!
4)Do A Hell Lot Of Coding,Write Codes,Try Your Ideas over
it,Try Your Doubts Over It,Try Whatever You Can.

Finally i want to say that in India people quote that 1
and 1 are 11,but i wanna say that we 1 and 1 are 111,I am
not going to thank my friend sandy,coz there is no sorry
and no thank you in friendship.
