Hi,
I took two months of preparation (2hrs/day). I studies HFEJB and then went through the specs. I took mocks in ejbcertificate.com, jdiscuss.com and also took the Enthuware EJBPLUS mocks. Finally took the HFEJB Final mock exam. This was my learning curve for SCBCD.

Try Product and other certifications

I found very helpful references where you can start from.

In any case you definitely have to read:
Fowler's 'UML distilled'
Larman's 'Applying UML and patterns'

The edition of these books does not really matter.
Where I work three of us did the exam. We used the
2nd or the 3rd edition of the books. Everyone
passed the exam.

So besides the books I suggest some good mocks,
you have to see for yourself, but we used Whizlabs.

HTH,

Gian
