Hello Ranchers,

Wow - After about 5 weeks of painful wait - Finally I got my results!!!

Test: Sun Certified Developer for the Java 2 Platform (310-027)
Date Taken: 2005-11-23 08:21:52.170
Registration Number: m8asyd5060
Site: sgj
Grade: P
Score: 363
Comment: This report shows the total number of points awarded for each section. The maximum number of points is 400, to pass you need a score of 320. Section Summary: Section Max Actual Points Points
General Con: 100 92
Documentation: 70 63
OOD: 30 30
GUI: 40 28
Locking: 80 80
Data Store: 40 40
Network Server: 40 30
Total: 400 363

I could only think of not providing a nice layout for the GUI. I did not provide tool bars / did not allow sorting of the records. I kept it simple - May be that caused me 12 marks.

For the Network server, I was missing a way to shutdown (instructed the assesor to crtl+c to kill it).

My design choice was bit lengthy about 5 - 6 pages and the assesor might have thought it that way too.

I was really expecting a full score for atleast the Network server and Documentation!!!

For the Locking - I kept it simple as stated here

However, my certification history is still not updated at http://i7lp.integral7.com/sun and at https://www.prometric.com ???

Finally A BIG Thank you to all - especially, Andrew / TQ / Oricio - I would not have achieved this with out you guys! This is great forum for the Java Community - Keep up the Good work!

Thanks,

Muthaiah.
