Hi,
30 days count down started on 8th January 2006.... Finally the day has come(6th Feb 2006) and it beaten me up to death to get SCJP 96%..it was really stimulating to prepare for the exam..though i was working on java for last 3 years..but the exam preparation experience taught me a lot....
I would like to thank javaranch members for sharing their experience and doubts.,Kathy & Bates for their wonderful book which i studied for three times...(though i took only one day to finish the entire book everytime i went through it only because i could not sleep without finishing that book...), Khalid for his book which made me to put extra effort in understanding java...and Simon Roberts for his simple explanation of the concepts...

Last but not the least the important people like Marcus Greeen and also the people who shared their exam mock tests...

Here is some tips to future SCJPs:

1.Take a mock test before you jump on the preparation ....this will give you an idea of your strenghts and also weaknesses. This will help you focus on kinda questions and concepts that you can look forward in the exam while preparing for SCJP.

2.Finish the theory part preparation at max in a week.

3.Practice all the mocks listed in Javaranch .Mainly play with the Rules round up often..To get some Lucky horseshoe.

4.Revise your theory two days before the exam.

5.Finally don't miss to participate and read posts in javaranch.

please let me know if you require any further details .....

Thanks.
Somasekar Reddy.
