Thanks to all the ranchers.

Can I say something? The exam it's NOT a walk thru the park!
Since April I spent my last weekends and my life after work on Java theory and Mock exams. I start working with Java 3/4 years ago and this just help me scoring 100% with fundamental and flow control but that's it.

I don't remeber who said that:
1/3 of the questions are very easy
1/3 of the questions are tricky
1/3 of the questions are very tough

I think it's true. So first start with the very easy and the tricky spending less than 2 minutes on each and then move to the tough ones.

Hope it helps.

Congratulations!!!

Curious to know:
The tough and tricky in the exams are even tougher and tricker than Whizlabs 5?

Thanks

I Used Whizlabs 5 as a help for my preparation, and I think that the questions there are a little bit harder than the questions on the real exam.

Good luck!

Thanks Samuel !

I am doing K&B's mock exam now, I find it's not easy and somebody said that the it's toughness and style is close to real exam, that really worries me, while somebody said that K&B is much harder than the real one.

I also used J@whizlab5, I did only 2 tests and found that's not easy either. And I had no idea how hard that I have to prepare before I go to the test one day?!

Hi again!

I prepared by reading the "Complete Java 2 Certification Study Guide" by Phil Heller and Simon Roberts (ISBN: 0-7821-4419-5) and taking all the questions in that book which where fairly easy. Then I ordered the Whizlabs 5 simulator and took the diagnostic exam with terrible result
So after some more questions and and trying the code on the questions I failed in some real programs I did better and finished mock exam 2 and 3 with a result of 70% approx.
Then I did the real test and got 72%

Good luck!

Thanks again Samuel !

That's very inspiring.

I also had finishing reading and exercising the "Complete Java 2 Certification Study Guide", which I also thought it's not enough for the the real test. I started reading K&B 2 months and did the self Tests.

I just started using Whizlab5 and did the diagnostic exam and test 1 with terrible results, which really scares me. I did collection all my wrongs and mistakes and hope that I can do better on the test 2, 3,4, and final one in the Whizlab5.
