Took the exam today and boy it was a toughie. I'm actually surprised I scored so well, there were many questions I didn't feel I knew the answers with confidence.

Here are some study tips. HFEjb is a good book to read the first time and it covers all the objectives but there are small things missing. The EJB Spec is the only way to go. As boring as it sounds, I regret not looking at it more carefully.

http://www.javablackbelt.com/jbb/WikiPage.do?action=view&page=SCBCD is a good summary of the material. Also, the PDFs on lifecycle, interfaces and ejb-jar.xml at http://www.valoxo.ch/jr/cheatsheets.html are extremely good.

I also signed up to ejbcertificate.com and scored 81% on the material. I scored 84% on the HFEjb final mock exam. I also visited http://jdiscuss.com/Enthuse/jsp/ShowAvailableTests.jsp

Good luck test-takers! Thanks for helping me with my questions the past month.
