Passed the SCJP 1.5 today with 100%!
My observations:

1. The SCJP 5 Study Guide (K&B) is wonderful!
2. Taking a couple of sample exams gives you a better chance of getting a high score.

This is the first time I've seen someone did a 100% on
1.5. Congratulations! Youre result is a blockbuster.

How did you prepare for the Exam? What mock exams did
you use? What list of materials? How many hours per
day did you study? Was it difficult for you to review all
of the stuff? How many months did it take for you to
complete?

First I'd like to thank all of you very much!
Next, I think this is what you need to do in order to pass with 100% score:

1. Get yourself a study guide that *only* covers the exam objectives.. No need to go in depth into other topics.
2. Give yourself 2 weeks (full-time) to read *every* word of the study guide.
3. Take some practice exams. You will be able to estimate your level, and you will see what the real exam looks like.

That's exactly what I've done; I started preparing for the exam about three weeks ago, and that was more than enough!

Best wishes..

Thank you everybody..
Special thanks to Bert. Without the book, I'd have never made it!

As I said before, taking a couple of practice exams is a smart thing to do before taking the SCJP exam. This will help you estimate your level, and will make you feel confident.

Best wishes..

Congrats. 100 is a great number to see. Good work. But you did not say what mock exams you prepared for the exam. The usual mocks that we see in this site or any commercial(paid) mocks.

Bye & Congrats again,
Praveen
