took the SCJP 5.0 exam, July 2006. following are the result breakdown and my personal thoughts.

Personal Thoughts
-----------------
-SCJP 5.0 Study Guide by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates is a wonderful book. i'd sure be buying books these folks write.

-Didn't score as much i thought i would have -> Reason: I did not practice any mock exams, even the LearnKey that came with the book.
My Advice: Do not take this test without taking mock exams, find all the free ones and buy some if you still need more. Learn from my mistake (i still passed anyway. thank God )

-Drag and Drop questions are a pain, watch out for them, do them last, spend more time on them. I couldn't review any without my answer being reset. Sun, why do we have drag and drops?

-Javaranch is an awesome site. just started coming around here now that i'm preparing for SCJD and i can see its great value. I'd definitely be here for a long time.

That's a really fine result Bod!

We're glad the book helped.
