Hi Ranchers,

Glad to let you all know that i cleared SCWCD yesterday afternoon.

I was not at all happy with my score, and that's why i am not posting it..

A big thanks to Kathy, Bert & Bryan for their wonderful Head first book, Mikalai & Fedrick for their valuable notes and fellow ranchers who have inspired me to achieve the same.

Well for the preparation part, i took almost 3 months. Head first Book for Servlets & JSP is the best, but their chapter for design patterns is weak. For that i referred Hanumanth Deshmukhs SCWCD exam study kit. It's always better if you could get some hands on exp. on JSP & Servlets. Try all the mocks given in the exam link of Java ranch, and i guarentee that you can crack above 90% if you can quote from memory well...

Congrats Mohamed!

I think the SCWCD might be the toughest exam.

We'd like to hear any suggestions you have concerning the patterns chapter!

Thank you indeed, Bert and Mikalai. Getting a mere 'Congrats' from Bert is really an accolade for me.

what i meant by 'weak' in respect to Design patterns of Head First was that, when compared to Deshmukhs SCWCD exam study kit, Heard First lacks the detailed explantions of the same. (This is what i felt!!!). If Bert & kathy could make it a bit more descriptive as done in SCWCD exam study kit, the book is perfect. (Even otherwise, Head First is the Best.. !!!).
