Hi Friends i am a silent member of this group, i am very much keen to write SCJP1.4 Exam as son as psooible, so please let me know the portion of this exam and book to read, and online exam sites etc, what ever you peole konw about scjp1.4 preparation and how many moths i have to spend on this,

subscribe to javabeat and also have a look at javablackbelt.If you are a java beginer , it will take minimum 2 to 3 months to pass SCJP with good score .

I completed taking couse of java long back and I completed K&B book So I think can i put my slot on last weeek of october. please Give me reply

Hi Vamshi,

I hope i can give you assistance since I just today took SCJP 1.4 exam and took 90% on it.

My advise is there is a book called Cathis era(Please search for the book on google. I got it free in net!!!). Its really user friendly. Prepare well on the book. The time is depends on your interest to learn the book.

After that go to java ranch mock exam list, download and attend as much as possible exams before taking the exam(Take 15 to 20 days for this process).

Then go and take the exam.
