Hi Shaival!

First off congrats! I know 79% isn't as great as 97%, but the SCWCD is MUCH tougher than the SCBCD. For the SCWCD, 79% is a really, really fine score.

That said, we would like to hear if you have any specific comments about where you think the book fell short! We would take any suggestions you have seriously.

Hi Bert,

Thanks to you n other ranchers.

Bert, book is too good as i always say about HEAD FIRST books and its becoz of your book i c'd take EXAM in just 5 days.

I like to say one thing.
i read HFEJB for SCBCD,did 5 readings and While taking SCBCD exam, there was no question where i found myself clueless.I got 2 ques wrong in EJB-ql section n it c'd be due lack of practice.

But,while taking SCWCD,in many of questions i found myself clueless.
I dnt remember all things what i c'd not answer.few were like.
1)JSTL like <c:link <c:invoke <c ut
2)Custom tag questions what i found untouched in book
3) Dynammic attributes and some dynamic interface(this i saw in EXAM)
4) remote methods like getRemoteHost...etc.(ofcourse you mentioned getRemotePort(),getServerPort(),getLocalPort())
5) there was a question :
Desc: In session a list is added with name "Books" and list is collection of book objects.access books list using
<jsp:UseBean id scope class >
i m not sure, how list can be accessed using <jsp:UseBean because i read
in the book that it's used for JavaBeans. But i answered.

.....etc.(what i missed to remember)

Of course,in the book i saw these tag names. But no good desc and i appreciate, you written in book "we are not covering all the JSTL and giving you a good excuse to refer Specs"

and i also commit,i did not refer specs due to time constraints. So,I relied on the book, as i had impression with HFEJB.

MY CONCERN : everyone like clear goals, like for me If i read this book 3-4 time completely i 'll get passing and 90% marks.I m sure,No one like refering many documents.
So here book lacks,it can help in just getting passed(as you mentioned on front page). But not getting 90% or plus.

ISSUE: Of course, your book is much better than other avaliable books.
but still people go for Manning n other books. Why ? know the answer.

AS HFEJB is too good and i refer everyone the same book nothing else.
Then Why your HF book for SCWCD does not meet the same level.

I can understand there c'd be some marketing, price or other factors.
coz your book is already of 754 pages.

SUGGESTION: IF your book ensures EXAM taker,90% + marks.(by covering good amount of untouched stuff )(as HFEJB does).

Why w'd not everyone buy your book than other available stuff ?

REQUEST: I m a small, inexperinced guy as compared to you.So dnt have any hard feelings.what i said is my exp after taking the Exam.

LAST WORDS:Still Head first is best........(but HFEJB only)

With Regards
