Hello All,
I cleared the SCWCD exam today after i cleared SCBCD1.3 nearly 3 weeks back.
All in all,i cleared all 3 basic java certifications and all the major credit goes to Head First Books.
Coming to the SCWCD exam preparation/experiance for people who want to take it,i didnt had time to do commecial mocks. So i just did head First mocks. And only read that book.I didnt had any time to read specs or any other study notes.I scored 75% on Head First final mock.so +20% rule applied well to my case.

Like all other sun exams,80% of the questions are very very straightforward. But 5% out of remaining are very difficult.I lost 3 questions[1 each in design patterns, session management and web deployment]
The design pattern question was so dificult that out of 5 options, the only knows option was transfer Object and it really didnt made any sense to select that answer. In the end i lost that question. The session management question has got to do with some tricky listener-servlet combination code about streaming responses. And finally,in the web deployment question, for 3 answers i could easily select 2 and the remaining one to select was very very difficlt[i mean not mentioned in HF book].So that sums up the missed ones.So you need to be bit lucky if you want 95 and above.

Any queries, send me a mail/PM and i would be more than happy to help you.
And finally Thanks Again to Head First

Happy New Year to you all.

Cheers

Wow Prashanth !

First off all, congrats on achieving such a fantastic score!!!

Second, thanks so much for putting together that great web page!

We just published a new HF book about a month ago, and we hope to have 3 more done in 2007 - keep your fingers crossed!
