Praveen, don't worry - the same thing happened to me when I passed the exam, I couldn't register on certmanager immediately, either (definitely your score isn't updated on certmanager right on the day you pass!). It took a few days (about 4 days) before certmanager was updated (and allowed me to register.) So just wait and check back and try to register again in a few days.

Hi
I have cleared SCWCD on Dec 09th 06 in Seattle. I didn't receive my certification yet. What do i need to do to receive the certification ASAP.
I am able login in http://www.certmanager.net/sun and in certification process it shows only enrolled but in the History able to see my result. Could someone help me to get the certification soon would be really great.

Thanks,
Anitha

Hi Anitha,

Please refer the Official Sun FAQ. It should answer all your queries.

Hi Anitha,

You had said that you were able to login to http://www.certmanager.net/sun

I am able login in http://www.certmanager.net/sun

Login to your account there and see the FAQs. Maybe they can help you. Also, you'll find one more email address there, which is suncert@thomson.com

My advice would be that you send mail to both these ids, i.e., suncert@thomson.com and SunCert@Prometric.com

The same thing had happened with me. I had not received my certificate in more than 2-3 months. I contacted the local Prometric center. They told me to send a mail to these ids and in the mail, tell them your Prometric ID and Candidate ID and tell them the date on which you had passed the exam and ask them to re-dispatch the certificate, in case you missed it the first time.

When I had sent this mail, I got a reply from them within a week and got the certificate soon.

So I hope this would help you too.

Regards,
Pushkar.

Thank you so much Pushkar.
Yes I am able to login and in the certification process link shows enrolled not certified. I have sent a mail to suncert@thomson.com and didn't get any response. Again today sent a mail to SunCert@Prometric.com with all my details.
Thanks for your info. its really appreciated.

It doesn't show that you are certified???

When you login to your account on http://www.certmanager.net/sun and go to the "History" page, are you able to see entries like "Certified in Sun Certified Web Component Developer for J2EE 1.4" ? You should be. If not, contact your Prometric center from where you passed the exam.

Also, does that "History" page have any entries under the "Fulfillment" Event Type? If yes, then your certificate must have been dispatched but you might have missed that because you might not have been at home. If there are no entries under the "Fulfillment" Event Type, then your certificate was never dispatched.

In both the cases, you can send email on the email addresses which I had mentioned in my last post and mention all the details.

Also, check your address and phone number on the "Personal Information" page, just in case there is a mistake there.

If, after doing all this, you don't receive any reply from Sun / Prometric for more than 2 weeks after sending the mail, contact your Prometric center from where you had passed the exam, tell them the whole story and see what they say.

And, you can always ask the Moderators and Sheriffs here as they might be able to guide you better.

Regards,
Pushkar.

Thanks Pushkar.
Yes I am able to see my result as passed in the History details but in the Fulfillment section I couldn't see any event history.
I was talking about the certification process link has the check boxes there it shows enrolled. Do I need to do something in that section too?
Thank you so much for your detailed mail.

No. You don't need to do anything there.

In that case, I think, your certificate was never dispatched.

As I said, write a mail to them informing this. And if you don't get a reply from them within, say about 10 days or so, then contact your Prometric center and inform them about this.

Also, in that case, you can ask any of the moderators or sheriffs here as they might be able to guide you better.

Pushkar.

They do have contact numbers, but that would depend on your current location.

This is the Contact Information if you are in US or Canada.
If you are outside US and Canada, then you may refer this page.

Thanks.
I got the reply saying that according to the i-7 Cert Tracker database http://i7lp.integral7.com/sun, the requirements have not been met to earn certification. It appears that you still need to take the Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform exam to be certified.

They think i may be having more than one ID number ? I donot know about it and gave reply with all my details.I have only one candidate ID no. if you know anything about it let me know.
Thanks,
Anitha

Hi Pushkar/ Anita,

I got info from java ranch that you faced same kinda of problem which i am facing . Can you please help me on this.

I have mailed this problem to who2contact@sun.com 10 times but not received any acknowledgment .

I appeared my certification SCMAD exam on 17 th November 2009

I cleared exam as well with 72 %. But Still I did not received any certificates from Sun Center,

In the Fulfillment section I couldn't see any event history.I was talking about the certification process link has the check boxes there it shows enrolled.

What you did on this? As your thread says you got reply from them saying 2 ids . For me i am also suspecting same since this is my second cert . But how to confirm this? and what to do?

Please do needful on this.

Thanks and Regards,

Swapnil
