Passed scjp 5 with 93%. Bit disappointed - only get 70% in OO concepts.

Big Thanks for all Ranchers here for answering my doubts, Bert and Kathy for writing well-focused study guide. JQPlus, WhizLab and JavaBeat for providing range of quality questions.

The exam is easier than I thought. Roughly I spent 6 months on and off reading, practicing, and for the last 2 months 3-4 hours at night.

I'm interested to learn how to use Java effectively and "correctly", is Developer exam the right path? but for now just want to relax. oh no we're having another baby in next few days.

thanks all

Congrats Anthony!

93% is a really great score on the 5.0 exam!

That's great!!

It makes me feel good that you spent a lot of time studying too. I've been spending about 2 hours a day on weekdays and about 5 hours on weekends studying for the past 2 months. I must say, I'm getting a little burnt out. I hoped to take the exam in mid-March, but I might not feel comfortable enough to make that deadline.

Your post makes for good inspiration. I'll keep chugging away.

Congrats!
