ya sure...
first i started to prepare scwcd with head first
servlets and ejp which was a wonderful book i enjoyed reading ... after completing it once i completed the mocks that were at the back of each chapter .... these mocks gave me a really good assesment of areas that i am weak .... then i began to read the book for the second time and side by side going through specs ...
after finishing the book second time i started to take mocks that were available free on the net ... for example
java beat and
j2ee certificate and other free mocks ....
then i decided to take the exam on 22nd of january ... but to my luck

or unluck

i suddenly fell ill due to viral fever so i postponed the date to 3rd of this month...
then 2 days before the exam i took the most awaiting and most feared final mock exam that was at the back of the book and got 47 of them correct which gave 68% ... this boosted my confidence ... then the day before the exam i went through the 'bullet points' in the book and the notes that i had made for myself.. the exam was sheduled at 2 in the afternoon... so during the morning hours i went through the notes by Mikalai Zaikin(Thank you sir for such a wonderful notes and i realized the pains that you would have taken to compile those notes)
then at 1:45 i went to the prometric center .. i was a little bit nervous when i entered the exam room...then i prayed to GOD and took the exam.... and actually there was 70 questions and not 69... and my advice to all is to take up the drag and drop questions at the last because they get reset every time you want to review it...
so hard work and GOD's blessing is the secret of sucess
(and my personal thanks to Kathy and Bret for their book 'head first java ' and 'certification guide ' which helped me to clear
scjp 4 months before ... i was not able to thank you at that time because i was not a member then)
and once again thanks to all ranchers for their advise and experiences
